This policy explains how 3DNovations Limited uses cookies and similar technologies on its websites and digital learning services.

Public 3DNovations website
The main 3DNovations website does not provide visitor accounts and does not use cookies for advertising or behavioural profiling.
The website uses a limited number of WordPress plugins to provide accessibility, email protection and image gallery functionality.
Our accessibility tools may allow visitors to adjust the presentation or behaviour of the website to suit their individual requirements. Where information is stored solely to apply a setting requested by the visitor, it is used only for that purpose.
We do not currently use personal information collected through cookies to build advertising profiles or target advertising.
Necessary technologies
Some cookies or similar technologies may be required for security, technical operation or functionality specifically requested by a visitor.

Learning Management System
3DNovations also operates a Learning Management System which provides registered learners with access to courses and learning activities.
Unlike the public website, the LMS requires users to log in.
The LMS may use necessary session and authentication technologies to:
- keep a learner securely logged in
- maintain an authenticated session
- protect learner accounts and the platform
- provide requested course functionality
These technologies are required for operation of the authenticated learning service.
The LMS also maintains records relating to learner activity, which may include course participation, progress, completion, assessment results and certificates.
These learning records are principally held within the LMS rather than as browser cookies. Further information about how this personal information is processed is provided in our Data Protection and GDPR information and, where applicable, project specific privacy information.
Third party content
Some pages may contain links to external websites. Following a link to another website means that organisation’s own privacy and cookie practices will apply.
Where we embed third party services directly into our website in future, we will assess whether those services use cookies or similar technologies and whether consent is required before they are activated.
Managing browser storage
Visitors can use their browser settings to view, block or delete cookies and other locally stored information.
Disabling technologies that are necessary for an authenticated service may prevent parts of that service, including the LMS, from operating correctly.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if the technologies used by our website or learning platform change.
