University College Dublin’s SMARTlab showcases one of our virtual platforms, and discusses the benefits of using this innovative approach for helping those on the ASD spectrum with life skills.

3DNovations technology and its research partnership with University College Dublin SMARTlab were featured on Irish television as part of TV3’s technology programme The Gadget Buzz.

Part of a wider shift in virtual reality

The TV3 appearance came at a point when virtual reality was moving rapidly from specialist research and development towards much greater public awareness.

The Gadget Buzz was TV3’s dedicated technology programme. Its later series deliberately moved beyond conventional product reviews to examine how emerging technologies were likely to affect people’s lives, with virtual reality specifically identified as one of the technologies the programme intended to explore.
